Start with the format
Check how many numbers are selected, their permitted range and how matches are counted. Two draws with similar names can use different rules. The format also determines whether extra numbers or separate prize tiers appear in the result.
Check dates and time zones
Scheduled time, completed draw time and publication time refer to different moments. Read the time zone beside a schedule, especially around midnight, when the same instant can fall on different calendar dates in different locations.
